The Model Off-Road Buggy Club is not for profit group and was founded in the summer of 1993 by a handful of enthusiastic 1/8th buggy racers. From nothing more than sand and bush one of the best Nitro Off-Road facilities in Australia was built.

The purpose - to provide a venue to race these fantastic machines on a surface that would be fun and challenging for beginners as well as experienced racers.

Racing Info

There are Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd on major club trophy days for each class.

Club days will consist of 6 x 7min races and results calculated after worst race dropped.

Major trophy days consist of qualifying (10 min heats) and bump up finals or Christmas tree (semi's and amain) finals depending on numbers.

Practice will now be all day Saturday with timed heats from 2pm on the weekends which have no race meetings.

Also there will be keys available to open the track at any time from the committee members at a charge of $5 per person using the track and the keys need to be back the same day. This will operate as a trial from beginning of October to the end of December 2008. If every member that uses the keys does the right thing by bringing the keys back on time and attending regular race meetings it will continue. The key holder is also required to collect the $5.00 fee off anyone that shows up to the track to practice and keep a record of the visiting driver/s.

How Much Does it cost ?

Up to 10 years of age $25 annual membership.

11 to 16 years of age $50 annual membership.

Over 16 years of age $100 annual membership.

Social Members fee $25.

Race fees for each class will be $10 for club days, $15 for major trophy days.

What Do we Race ?

We race 1/8 scale Buggies, Truggies and Monster Trucks. 1/10 scale IC off-road are also welcome.

What do I need to race ?

Of course you need your own car, engine, radio and starting equipment however you will find our members to be more than helpful in assisting you in preparing for racing. We suggest you come on down and see what is needed and what could be realistically borrowed on the day.
